Kobe shopping area and a concert

On this August 3, I attended a concert.

To Kobe Harborland of the concert hall, I walked through the arcade of Sannomiya and Motomachi in rain.

I introduce you to the shopping area and a concert today.

About the concert

My wife belonged to amateur's string music ensemble, and it was the regular concert on that day.

Matukata hall to hold the concert was approximately full in spite of rain.

All programs were the music of Vivaldi and "four seasons" was also performed.

“L'estro Armonico” was fresh and was good for me.

この８月３日、私は演奏会に行きました。

演奏会場の神戸ハーバーランドまで、雨の中、私は三宮と元町のアーケードを歩いて行きました。

今日は、ショッピング街と演奏会を紹介します。

演奏会について

私の妻は、アマチュアの弦楽アンサンブルに所属しており、この日はその定期演奏会でした。

会場の松方ホールはほぼ満員で、雨にも関わらず有難いことでした。

演目は、すべてヴィヴァルディの曲で、「四季」も演奏されました。

私には「調和の霊感」が新鮮で良かった。

There is always good feeling of strain before a performance begins.

The lobby after the concert bustles with the chatting of the players and the visitors.

This ensemble is formed only by women of Kobe.

演奏が始まる前は、いつも良い緊張感が漂います。

演奏会が終わったロビーは、演奏者達と来場されたお客様達の談笑で包まれます。

このアンサンブルは神戸の女性ばかりで結成されています。

The arcade of Sannomiya and Motomachi

I introduce overseas tourist to some shops peculiar to Japan.

三宮と元町のアーケード

海外の旅行者に日本独特のお店を紹介します。

A: “Takoyaki” is Octopus dumplings. It seems that octopus dumplings are soaked in soup and are eaten. There was a queue in front of a store.

B: “Arare” is cubic rice crackers. This cracker is a kind of confectionery of baked rice cake. I like it being covered by soy sauce.

C: “Wagasi” is Japanese cake. It is a lot of pasted sweet cakes by older Japanese method.

D: Lacquerware is traditional crafts. It is a lot of lacquered wooden tableware.

Ａ：たこ焼き。たこ焼きをおつゆに浸けて食べるようです。店の前に行列が出来ていました。

Ｂ：あられ。お米の焼き菓子で、醤油を塗ったものは私の大好物です。

Ｃ：和菓子。日本の昔からある甘い練ったお菓子が多い。

Ｄ：漆器。昔からの漆塗りの木製食器です。

A: “Houcyou” is kitchen knife.

B: “Butudan” is a family Buddhist altar. Family condoles with the dead near relative. 

C: “Kimono”.  There are many traditional Japanese high-class kimonos.

D: “Ocya” is Japanese green tea.

Ａ：包丁。料理に使うナイフです。

Ｂ：仏壇。各家庭にある仏教式の祭壇、弔い用です。

Ｃ：着物。日本の伝統的な高級な着物が多い。

Ｄ：茶葉。日本の緑茶です。

A: ”UFO catcher” is a stuffed animal game machine. It is a game machine that children can catch toys and dolls by.

B: Portrait. The portraitist draws a portrait with your laughing face.

C: Meat of Kobe cow. There was a queue to buy croquettes.

D: Camera store.

I walked in a crowded arcade in unfortunate rain after so long, but was nice for a change.

Ａ：ＵＦＯキャッチャー。これは子供がおもちゃを掴み取りするゲーム機です。

Ｂ：爆笑似顔絵。笑った顔で似顔絵を描く。

Ｃ：神戸牛の肉。コロッケを買う行列が出来ていた。

Ｄ：カメラ店。

あいにくの雨でしたが、久しぶりに都会の人混みの中を歩き、気分転換になりました。
