Do you know the Vietnam War (1960～1975 years)?　 After World War II, it was the maximum, and a longest and miserable war.

A lot of youth of Vietnam don't know the Vietnam War.  Although the movie describing the war is famous for a "platoon" and "Apocalypse Now", about 90 works were manufactured in the world.

Those days Japan and the U.S. enthusiastically hold the demonstration against the Vietnam War, but it was difficult to stop it.

Why did Vietnam of small country perform the war that died 6 million people with both sides?  This time, I analyze it.

皆さんはベトナム戦争（1960～75年）を知っているだろうか？　第二次世界大戦後、最大、最長かつ悲惨な戦争でした。

ベトナム青年のほとんどは、その戦争を知りません。それを描いた映画では「プラトーン」「地獄の黙示録」が有名ですが、世界で９０作ほど製作されました。

当時、日米ではベトナム戦争への反戦デモが盛んでしたが、それを止めることは困難だったのです。

今回は、なぜ小国ベトナムが独立を勝ち取る為にだけに双方で死者６００万人を出す戦争し続けたのでしょうか、それを分析します。

This war had big misunderstanding between Vietnam and U.S. leaders from the beginning.

A victorious nation always got immense profits, as we have seen already.

A purpose of The U.S. was only to prevent communization going southward.

On the other hand, Vietnam repetitively was invaded and ruled by Chinese over 2000 years.

Especially the northern part of Vietnam often fought the war of independence, and it was the bushfighting in jungle.

From 130 years ago, Vietnam was occupied by France, and by Japan during several years in the World War II, after the War, they began to fight aiming at independence.

In 1930, before the World War Ⅱ, Vietnam aimed for independence in communist state by gaining assistance of the Soviet Union and China.

この戦争の特徴は、最初からベトナムと米国首脳の間に大きな誤解がありました。

既に取り上げた戦争では、戦勝国には莫大な利益がありました。米国には共産化の南下を防ぐ目的だけでした。一方、ベトナムは2千年にわたり、中国の侵略・支配が繰り返されていた。特に北部は独立戦争を幾たびか経験し、それは伝統的にジャングルに逃げ込むゲリラ戦だった。

130年前からはフランスに占領され、第二次世界大戦中、数年間日本の占領を受け、大戦終了後、独立を目指して戦い始めました。大戦前の1930年、ソ連と中国の援助を受け、共産政権樹立による独立を目指していました。

Although the U.S. opposed the France colonial policy in Vietnam at first, the U.S. changed its mind by strain (cold war) with the Soviet Union, and there also was the fear of communism.

After the World War Ⅱ, the U.S. and Soviet confronted each other, and began nuclear competition and  obtained each alliance countries all over the world.

Further, In 1950, North Korea invaded South Korea suddenly, and the Korean War broke out, and also the China army also participated in the war.

Thereby, the U.S. felt the threat for the communist country at a stretch.

The U.S. is the greatest economic big power and had already self-confident for the police (military power) in the world.

An independent war of northern Vietnam spread soon, and France withdrew in 1954.

The military aid of the Soviet Union and China was effective against this.

Although another political power made the Declaration of Independence in southern Vietnam next year, this was a puppet government by the U.S. that succeeded the policy of France.

Then, the U.S. scraps a promised north-south general election, decides north-south division, and begins to give the South Vietnam government economy and military aid.

This policy is based on the Communist bloc containment strategy (domino theory), was taken over to the President for generations, and was performed.

Soon, the U.S. increased the military aid and started Hanoi bombing in 1965, and swelled the expeditionary force of the ally to 550,000 peoples in 1969.

最初、米国はベトナムでのフランス植民地政策には反対でしたが、米ソ緊張（冷戦）と共産化の恐れがそれを転向させたのです。大戦終了後、米ソは対峙し、世界中で核競争と同盟諸国獲得の覇権争いをするようになっていました。さらに1950年、北朝鮮が突如韓国に攻め込み朝鮮戦争が勃発し、さらに中国軍も参戦した。これにより、米国は一気に共産国に脅威を感じた。既に米国は最大の経済大国になっており、世界の警察（軍事大国）を自負するようになっていた。

やがてベトナム北部から独立の戦火が広まり、1954年、フランスは敗退します。これにはソ連と中国の武器援助が効いていました。翌年、ベトナム南部で別の政権が独立宣言をしますが、これはフランス政策を引き継いだ米国の傀儡政権でした。その後、米国は約束の南北統一選挙を反故にし南北分断を確定し、南ベトナム政府に経済と軍事援助を行い始めます。この政策は共産圏封じ込め戦略（ドミノ理論）によるもので、代々の大統領に引き継がれて行ったのです。やがて軍事援助は増大し、1965年ハノイ爆撃開始、1969年の同盟国による派遣軍は55万人に膨れ上がりました。

On the other hand, the southern puppet government killed hundreds of thousands of people who demand north-south unification using the secret police.

Also after that, the southern political power repeated decomposition and autocracy, and was disliked by the public.

In this way, Viet Cong who aims at release of South Vietnam was born from South Vietnam in 1960.

North Vietnam and Viet Cong connect an alliance, and hold bushfighting in a jungle.

The South Vietnam government troops and the U.S. allied forces fought against it.

The U.S. forces became an uphill battle.  With the napalm bomb and the defoliant, burned jungle and weeded until nothing.

It was ineffective, one part of the U.S. soldier who became mentally cornered burned down the whole village, and killed all people.

一方、南の傀儡政権は秘密警察を使って南北統一を要求する人々を数十万人にも殺しました。その後も南の政権は代替わりしても腐敗と独裁を繰り返し民衆から嫌われていました。こうして1960年、南ベトナムの解放を目指すベトコンが南ベトナムから生まれたのです。

北ベトナムとベトコンは同盟を結び、ジャングルでゲリラ戦を行います。それを南ベトナム政府軍と米国同盟軍が掃討することになります。米軍はゲリラに苦戦した。米軍はジャングルをナパーム弾と枯れ葉剤で焼き尽くし除草しました。それでも効果は上がらず、精神的に追い詰められた米軍兵士には、村ごと焼き払い、村民を虐殺する者も出て来ました。

Although the Vietnam War had repeated alternation between advance and retreat, the President was not able to back out from war.

Since 1964, an antiwar demonstration broke out all over the world　as the miserable situation or increase of the U.S. soldier’s dead is found in Vietnam.

The U.S. Forces had spent 60,000 dead persons of the U.S. soldier, and the immense cost of war (equivalent to GDP of Japan for 1970 years), with no victorious prospect.

In 1969, when a slaughter case in the My Lai village was reported to the world, the greatest antiwar demonstration in the U.S became 1 million people.

President Nixon is the 4th President from a war start, and He made the war finish.

Nixon immediately visited China and the Soviet Union in February and May 1972.

He thawed "fear and hostility between liberalism and communism" in an moment.

In 1973, the U.S. and Vietnam became the end of the war.

Then, the liberation army attacked Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam, the war of independence ended here, and north and south were unified.

ベトナム戦争は一進一退を繰り返していましたが、大統領は戦争から手を引くことが出来ませんでした。

1964年以降、ベトナムでの悲惨な状況や米兵の死者増が知れ渡ると、世界中で反戦デモが起きるようになります。

こうして米軍は勝利の目途も立たないまま、米兵の死者6万人、莫大な戦費（70年の日本のGDPに相当）を費やしていた。1969年、ソンミ村での虐殺事件が世界に報道されるや、米国の反戦運動は最大の百万人のデモになった。ニクソン大統領は、戦争開始から4人目の大統領で幕引きを行った。1972年2月と5月、電撃的に中国とソ連を訪問し、「自由主義と共産主義間の恐怖と敵意」を一瞬にして氷解させた。これにより73年のパリ和平協定へと進んだ。

1973年、米国とベトナムは終戦となった。その後、解放軍が南ベトナムの首都サイゴンを攻略し、ここに独立戦争が終結し、南北が統一された。

次回は、ベトナム戦争当時の両国の軍事責任者が如何に戦争をエスカレートさせたかを見ます。

Those days, what kind of feeling have the German people borne? 

Germany had a once glory of the Holy Roman Empire and the Kingdom of Prussia. However, Germany was not a powerful unit, rather was like small nations bloc. In the republic age, this induced military confrontation of small countries in domestic.

Germans had emigrated the East Europe for many years. Depending on the ethnic self-determination in the East, the peoples became difficult to life. This makes them demand the return to Germany (annexation of East Europe).

There was two more fear. Communist revolutions had occurred frequently in the East. Under the influence of racial self-determination、the Jews return from an East Europe increased．And the capitalists of Judea were regarded as the exploiting persons and it was considered that they were the ringleaders of economic deterioration.

In presence of many small parties, the political power was unable to decide anything, and the prime minister changed in about one year. Then, the political situation inclined in the conservative government by the military authorities and the old regime side.

In such situation, the only effective solution was shown, it aimed a military strong country, and had the purpose of territory recapture, anticommunist, and anti-Semitic.

ドイツ国民が当時、抱いていた感情とはなにか？

ドイツには神聖ローマ帝国とプロイセン王国のかつての栄光があった。しかしドイツは強力な統一体ではなく小国連合であった。これが共和国時代、国内の邦国同士の軍事対立を生んだ。

また古くからドイツ人は東方に移民しており、当時の民族自決によって生きずらくなっていた。このことが彼らにドイツへの復帰を要望させるようになった（東欧併合）。

さらに二つ恐怖があった。東方で共産主義革命が頻発していた。民族問題の影響で東方から逆流するユダヤ人が増えた。またユダヤの資本家達は搾取者と見られ、経済悪化の元凶と見なされていた。

政局は小党乱立の中で、決められない政権となり、首相はほぼ1年で交代する状況が続いた。すると旧体制側と軍部が暗躍し保守政権に傾斜していくようになった。

こうした中、領地奪還、反共産、反ユダヤを目標に、軍事強国による一挙解決が提示された。

Hitler appeared.

Hitler fought as a soldier of Bayern, Germany, during World War I. After the end of the war, he aimed at the politician in the Bayern of the fresh communist regime. In one year After、This regime was overthrown by the central government and the Bayern right wing (nationalist). In this political change, Hitler becomes a standout in Nazis (National Socialist German Workers' Party).　Bayern become the greatest right-wing government that opposes a central government (socialist regime) and two communist regimes in Germany.

Bayern was eager for the military power subjugation to the central government. In 1923, he caused the abortive coup attempt and was arrested in Munich.

Although the executives caused this failure, he did not evade responsibility, and　declared that he stood for　the sake of Germany. By the humble attitude filled to patriotism, he became famous nationally suddenly.

The rapid economic deterioration by the Great Depression soon advanced the Nazis to the leading party. One of the big reasons is because the conservative class that fears a communist revolution turned to Nazis assistance. In this year, The Diet Building arson case occurred, and the communist party lawmaker were arrested. They performed the constitutional amendment and one-party dictatorship completed. The Nazis governed the parliament in about five years.

Then, the Third Reich that was led by Hitler started World War II.

　ヒトラーは第一次世界大戦中、ドイツのバイエルンの兵隊として戦った。終戦後、出来たての共産政権のバイエルンで政治家を目指した。この政権は中央政府とバイエルン右翼（国粋主義）によって一年後に転覆させられた。この政変の中で,ヒトラーはナチス（国家社会主義ドイツ労働者党）で頭角を現すことになる。バイエルンは中央の社会主義政権と二つの共産政権に対抗する最大の右翼政権となる。

バイエルンは中央政府への武力討伐に沸き立っていた。1923年、彼はミュンヘンでクーデター未遂事件を起こし、逮捕された。この失敗は最高幹部が原因であったが、彼は責任逃れをせず、ドイツの為に立ち上がったと宣言した。その謙虚で愛国心に満ちた態度により、彼は一躍全国的に有名になった。

世界恐慌による急激な経済悪化は、やがてナチス党を第1党に躍進させた。その大きな理由の一つは、共産革命を恐れる保守層がナチス援助に回ったことによる。この年に国会議事堂放火事件が起き、共産議員が逮捕された。彼らは憲法改正を行い一党独裁が完成した。ナチスは約5年間で国会を支配した。

この後、ヒトラー率いる第三帝国はヨーロッパから世界へと第二次世界大戦に巻き込むことになる。

What was Hitler's role?

His greatest arms were speeches that charm the public. He absorbed public anxiety and made the enemy charged with the cause. He made a sense of togetherness from people's hatred, and pitted them against big target. He made the tissue expansion successful by his speech and his behavior. Furthermore, by means of the trickery and violence、became the top of the organization.

It was the power which was asked for him of having made all confusion ceasing and making it moving forward toward a glory by state power.

Things that the people required Hitler were a huge power that made to cease all confusion and directed the people toward a glory. He was supported the conservative class, the military authorities, and the excited people. This was a phenomenon that may happen among the world anywhere.

　彼の最大の武器は大衆を虜にする演説であった。彼は国民の不安を先取りし、作り上げた敵に総べての悪因を背負わせた。彼は憎悪で一体感を盛り上げ、国民を目標に立ち向かわせた。彼は演説と振る舞いで組織拡大を成功させた。さらに彼は暴力と盟主への取り入りでトップになった。

　ヒトラーが求められたものは、あらゆる混乱を終息させ、栄光に向かって前進させる巨大な力だった。それを支えたの保守体制、軍部、熱狂した国民であった。これは世界中どこにでも起こりうる現象だった。

This time, we look at the background in which Hitler comes into power. And we can　understand　 that a Democracy society even becomes a dictatorship in a short period of time.

In Germany, would Hitler's only speech make dictatorship possible?  Or would the people desire a dictator?

From the 19th to 20th century, and the big stream was boiling society. European powers manipulated the satellite country into fighting for the self-determination of peoples in the colony, and Russia similarly did in the Balkan Peninsula. Furthermore, the communism bloomed and the Communist Party revolution occurred in Russia.　Europe was afraid of this dictatorship.

At this time, military alliance, war, communism, and ethnic movement swept across Europe.

今回はヒトラーが政権を握る経緯を追い、民主制社会が如何に短期間で独裁制に以降するかを見ます。

ドイツにおいて、ヒトラーの弁舌が独裁を可能にしたのでしょうか。それとも民衆が独裁者を望んだのでしょうか。

　

１９～２０世紀にかけて、大きな潮流が社会を沸騰させていた。欧州の列強は植民地で、ロシアはバルカン半島で、民族独立を餌に味方に引き入れ戦わせた。さらに共産主義が開花し、ロシアでは共産党革命が起きた。欧州はこの独裁政体を恐怖した。この時代のヨーロッパは軍事同盟と戦争、共産主義、民族運動が沸騰していた。

England, France and Russia formed an alliance against Germany that did growing military power, and there were in stressful situations. World War I occurred in Europe and Russia from 1914 to 1918 years.

While the war, Germany fought on both sides of France and Russia, and was just all-out war. The industrial production fell to the half before a start, and the dead amounted to 1,800,000 people. The revolution occurred during the war, the fire was ceased and the imperial government collapsed. The Weimar Republic by a socialist political party was born in 1919.

German economy became a bottom by healing the wounds of the war, and the industrial stagnation. Furthermore, Germany was imposed on the immense compensation. Moreover, Germany was ceded a part of mineral lands and the heavy industry area of the east-and-west border and was occupied. Austria was also separated. By the error of the financial policy, the inflation rate increased 300 billion times and the unemployment rate became 30%.

The German economy became the worst again when the Great Depression from the U.S. happened in 1929. It was in following year when a Nazi party held full powers. The republic government had lost support completely from people, as the central player who caused economic stagnancy and a humiliating capitulation.

軍事大国化するドイツ（プロシア）に対し、英仏露が同盟し、緊張状態になっていた。１９１４～１９１８年、ヨーロッパとロシアを巻き込む第一次世界大戦が起きました。

大戦中、ドイツはフランスとロシアの両側で闘い、まさに総力戦でした。工業生産は開始前の半分に落ち、死者は180万人に達した。戦争中、革命が起き、停戦し帝政は崩壊し、１９１９年に社会主義政党によるワイマール共和国が誕生した。

経済は戦後処理と産業停滞でどん底になった。さらに莫大な賠償金が課せられた。また東西国境の鉱山地帯や重工業地帯を一部占領と割譲させられた。オーストリアも分離した。金融政策の誤りにより、インフレ率は3000億倍になり、失業率は30％になった。

１９２９年に米国発の世界恐慌が起こると、ドイツ経済はまた最悪となった。ナチ党が全権掌握したのは次ぎの年であった。共和国政府は経済低迷と屈辱的な降伏を招いた当事者として、国民から完全に支持を失っていった。

The people have bore strongly anticommunism, rehabilitation to former glorious empire, and the hatred to the victorious nation. Therefore, the military authorities, a monopolist capitalist, and a feudal-lord aristocrat (Junker) who can oppose the external pressure were preserved.

The above-mentioned conservative forces, communist forces, and the socialist forces that took charge of political power were violently opposed to each other. A coup d'etat, terrorism, assassination, and an armed clash had broken out in various places. Various sorts of volunteer army were born and the total numbers were over 100,000.

Bloody violence was overflowing in the city or the village.

政治の混迷も深まっていた。国民は反共産主義、栄光ある帝国への復権、戦勝国への憎悪を強く抱いた。ゆえに外圧に対抗できる軍部、独占資本家、領主貴族は温存されていた。

上記の保守勢力と共産主義勢力、政権を担当した社会主義勢力が激しく対立した。各地でクーデター、テロ、暗殺、武力衝突が起きていた。総計何十万と言う義勇軍が生まれていた。都市や村落で血生臭い暴力が溢れていた。

How did the ancient Greece that is the birthplace of democracy become a military superpower?

The country that once got to know the good　taste of war would go toward the way of ruin.

The ancient Greece civilization represented in city-state Athens appeared in the 8th century B.C., and made the influence expand rapidly.

In the 6th century B.C., the Greek Allied Forces defeated the large army of Persia that invaded there.

Then, Greece bloom the flower of art, science, and philosophy, and reached to an extreme of prosperity.

However, it did not continue for a long time.

Soon, the 4th century B.C., Alexander and then Rome will rule over, and it will disappear from history.

Where is the cause of a downfall of the Greek race that was seen by the look of envy from Rome or Europe?

Ancient Greece consisted of a city state group of thousands.

Will the image of your ancient Greece be the chalky Parthenon and the democracy of Athens?

It may be able to be said that prosperity and civilization of Athens are based on trade and the progressive spirit born from there.

Furthermore, the democracy induced the strong army, promoted increase of the scale, became a champion of the Mediterranean soon, obtained many fortunes, and enabled construction of the huge shrine.

民主主義発祥の地である古代ギリシャがどのように戦争大国になっていくのか？

一度戦争の旨味を知ったが最後、その国は破滅の道を突き進むことになる。

都市国家アテネに代表される古代ギリシャ文明は紀元前8世紀に姿を現し、勢力を急拡大させた。前6世紀、ギリシャ連合軍は侵攻して来たペルシャの大軍を破った。その後、ギリシャは芸術、科学、哲学の花を咲かせ繁栄を極めた。しかし長くは続かなかった。やがて前４世紀アレクサンドロス、次いでローマに支配され、歴史から姿を消すことになった。

ローマや中世以降の西欧から羨望の眼差しで見られたギリシャ民族の滅亡の原因はどこにあるのだろうか。

古代ギリシャは数千の都市国家群からなっていた。皆さんが古代ギリシャで思い描くのは、アテネの民主制と白亜のパルテノン神殿ではないでしょうか。

アテネの繁栄と文明は交易とそこから生まれた進取の気質によると言えるかもしれない。さらにその民主制が強い軍隊を生み、規模の増大を促進し、やがて地中海の覇者となり、多くの富みを得て巨大神殿の建築を可能にした。

the first stage, although the oarsman of trireme was a slave, for arms buildup Athens carried out a　mass recruitment by citizen qualification and the salary .

Then, the situation unexpected to democracy Athens occurred.

Although the civic council decided the start of the war, the voice desired the war increasingly increased.

The reasons were the compensation, tax collection and pillage from the defeated nation by victory, and the salary to the soldier.

Those days, tens of thousands of sailors were always rowing the warships for the patrol on the Greek surrounding ocean area.

古代ギリシャ兵士の強さは重装歩兵による密集方陣隊形にありました。

この密集方陣は、歩兵が左手に大盾、右手に槍を持ち、通常横に８人並び、後ろに１０列以上続いた。平地で、戦闘開始の合図と共に、両軍が早足で進み、正面衝突し、押し合いながら、槍で突き戦闘を行った。これには兵士高い相互信頼が必要であった。

初期の頃は、相手が総崩れや敗走すると追撃することはなく、投石などの飛び道具の使用は恥ずべきものとして使用されなかった。彼らは自らの土地を守る農民であり市民であった。

やがてアテネが頭角を現して来た。アテネは良港を持ち、圧倒的な数の古代軍船「三段櫂船」を有する海軍大国を目指した。ペルシャ戦争において、最大の功績をあげたことにより同盟の金庫番となり、盟主となった。

覇者維持の軍備増強のために、初期には櫂船の漕ぎ手は奴隷であったが、市民資格と俸給を餌に大量募集するようになった。すると民主制アテネに予期せぬ事態が進行した。戦争開始は市民の民会で決議されているが、戦争を望む声が増大していくのだった。理由は、戦勝することによる敗戦国からの賠償金・徴税・略奪と、兵士への俸給だった。当時、ギリシャ周辺海域には常時、パトロールと称して数万の海兵が櫂船を走らせていた。

ここで二つの大きな社会変化が生まれていた。戦争こそが最大の経済的利益源とみなされた。ギリシャは同一民族を誇っていたが、実際は毎年何処かで民族同士が戦争を繰り返し、数十年続く戦争も多々あった。アテネとスパルタの対立のように。

こうなると昔の戦闘における信義は守られなくなり、海上封鎖による籠城市民の餓死、守備兵を火焔放射器で焼殺し、老若男女民間人の殺戮・処刑はありふれたものになっていた。アテネの民主制の形はあったが、政治は劣化していくばかりであった。

スパルタは少数の市民のみが戦争をしたので男子の人口は減るばかりであった。アテネは無謀なシチリア遠征を決行し、数万の兵士と数百の櫂船を失った。こうして互いに争い、消耗していったのです。北方のマケドニアが立ち上がった時には、ギリシャとして団結する意欲も武力もなかったのです。

これを衆愚政治の末路と呼ぶことも出来るが、本質は戦争の甘い罠から抜け出すことが出来ないことです。

百年の間に、ソクラテスが誇った市民の重装歩兵は残虐な殺戮者になったということです。

Misunderstanding of war ２ ： the First Sino-Japanese War ２

This time, I look at the beginning of the Sino-Japanese War from the Korean Peninsula side.

Many Japanese will regard that the First Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War have slightly involved with the Korean Peninsula.

However, they were receiving interference and domination from Japan government for 70 years.

The beginning of this war is the Ganghwa Island incident in 1875.

This exchange of gunfire began with the provocative action to require opening of Korean ports.

Thereby, the defeated Korea is made to conclude an unequal treaty with Japan and European and American etc., respectively.

Those days, the Korean dynasty continued no less than 480 years. Some problems of the dynasty were social stagnation, internal dispute, and correspondence to great powers.

The coups d'etat of the nobility or the peasantry had occurred frequently.

Japan and Qing came to stay on according to the request of Korea and ceased to return.

The peasantry 's coup d'etat happened in the spring of 1994. It knows as the Donghak Peasant Revolution.

The Korean government, which couldn’t repress the coup d’etat, requested sending troops to Qing.

Soon Japan also sent troops.

Although the Korean government asked both countries for withdrawal, it was refused.

Then, Japan occupied the king's palace on July, and made a puppet government that is a pro-Japanese and a civilization group.

In this way, the First Sino-Japanese War started and was the end of the war in next year April.

The peasantry returned each region, and the new government advanced some reforms.

However, when interference of Japan became intense, the peasantry took action on "anti-Japan, anti- civilization" again.

今回、私は日清戦争の始まりを朝鮮半島側から見ます。

多くの日本人は日清戦争と日露戦争だけが朝鮮半島と少し関わったと思っている。しかし彼らは日本から70年間、干渉と支配を受けたのです。

ことの始まりは1875年(明治8年)の江華島事件です。これは日本が開港を迫るための挑発行為から始まった砲撃戦でした。これにより敗れた朝鮮は日本、欧米等と不平等条約を締結させられることになりました。

当時、朝鮮王朝は480年も続いていた。問題は社会停滞、朝廷内部抗争、迫る列強対応であった。両班や農民のクーデターは頻発していました。

日清両国が朝鮮側の要請に応じて派兵し居座るようになりました。

94年春、官吏の腐敗と農民への重税に反発した農民蜂起が起こりました（ 甲午農民戦争＝東学党の乱）。

鎮圧に手を焼いた朝鮮政府は清国に派遣を要請した。すると日本も軍隊を送り込んで来た。

韓国政府は両国に撤退を求めたが拒否された。

そこで日本は、7月、王宮を占領して親日で開化派の傀儡政権を樹立させた。こうして日清戦争は始まり、翌年4月終戦となる。

農民は地方に返り、いくらか新しい政府による改革も進んだ。しかし日本の干渉が激しくなると再度農民は「反日反開化」に立ち上がった。

The allied forces of Japan and a puppet government swept this action away.

The sacrifice of this farmer army is called tens of thousands.

Also one year afterward, the Korean public and the farmer's coup d'etat occurred, and were suppressed.

In the meantime, Japan promoted Korean modernization forcibly.

On the other hand, interference in domestic affairs was legalized and the rights of the railroad and the telegraph line were acquired.

Korea was made to consent to make the utmost effort for food reservation of a Japanese army.

Russia and great powers interfere with Japan, and the Russo-Japanese War (1904～1905) soon started.

After the Russo-Japanese War, Japan made Korea the protectorate of Japan. And Korea afresh was merged into Japan in 1910.

The Korean governor-general's office was established, and the full-scale colonial policy started.

これを日本と傀儡政権の連合軍が掃討した。この農民軍の犠牲は数万と言われている。

1年後にも韓国の大衆と農民の義兵闘争が起き、また制圧された。

この間に日本は朝鮮の近代化を強引に推進した。一方で内政干渉を合法化し、鉄道及び電信線の利権を獲得した。日本軍の糧食確保のために最大限の努力をすることを了承させた。

ロシアと列強は日本に干渉し、やがて日露戦争（1904～1905年）につながっていくことになる。

日露戦争後、日本は朝鮮を保護国とし、さらに1910年には併合し、朝鮮総督府が設置され、本格的な植民地政策が始まった。

In 1919, Japan acquired the Manchuria Railway from Russia. And a military unit that guards the railway became independent.

In 1932, this staff officer schemed without permission and made Manchukuo of puppet government here.  In this way, the expansion of the occupation was repeated.

In 1937, near Beijing, beginning with a trifling firefight, the Sino-Japanese War happened.

In this way, over 70 years, Japan advanced from landing Korean Peninsula to Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific War.

In the meantime, Korea continued being a base of munitions of war, food supply, and soldier's supply.

Speaking in the extreme, it seem that the military began this war and the government followed from after that.

1919年にロシアから獲得した満州鉄道を守備する部隊が独立した。1932年に、この参謀らが独走し、傀儡の満州国を成立させた。こうして占領の拡大は繰り返された。

1937年、北京近くで、またも些細な銃撃戦が発端となって中国との戦争が始まった。70年かけて,　日本は朝鮮半島上陸から太平洋戦争へと進んだ。この間、朝鮮は軍需物資、食料調達、人員確保の要地であり続けたのです。

極端に言えば、この戦争は軍部が始め、その後から政府がついて行ったように思える。
