Travel to South Korean 4: Pleasant meal

 

＜　１　a restaurant of Samgyeopsal　＞

The greatest pleasure in the trip to Korea is a meal.

In particular, side dishes attached to main menu, such as Kimchi(Korean pickle) or Namul (seasoned vegetable dishes), are good.

韓国旅行での一番の楽しみは食事です。

特にメインメニューに添えられるキムチ、ナムルなどのおかずが良い。

＜　２　a dinner of Samgyeopsal(meat has not yet come)　＞

This menu roasts the ribs of pig with the griddle.

The meat was nice and the side dishes were also delicious.

サムギョプサルは豚のバラ肉を鉄板で焼いて食べる料理です。

肉も旨かったが、添えられているおかずも美味しかった。

＜　３　Signboards of the restaurant　＞

The restaurant was located in the center of Daegu and was full of local people.

店は大邱（テグ）の中心部にあり、地元の人で賑わっていた。

＜　４　a breakfast of Tarokuppa　＞　

This menu is local dishes of Daegu, and this Kuppa is separate boiled rice, and meat and vegetable soup.

Though it was weekdays, youths who had stayed up all night in this restaurant had breakfast.

　

タロクッパは大邱の郷土料理で、このクッパはご飯と肉・野菜スープが別れている。

平日なのに、店には徹夜した若者達が朝食を取っていた。

There was the restaurant in the suburbs of Daegu.

店は大邱の郊外にあった。

＜　５　a lunch of Andong Jiimdak　＞

Andong Jiimdak of local dish is chicken, vegetables, and thin noodles boiling with soy sauce and sugar.

Four persons had eaten dish of a big plate, and because there was much quantity, everyone left it.

The restaurant was near Andong Hahoe folk village.

安東チムタクはこの地方の郷土料理で、鶏肉と野菜、細い麺の甘辛煮です。

大きな皿を４人で食べるのですが、量が沢山あったので残した。

これも旨かった。

店は安東河回村の近くだった。

＜　６　a dinner of Bulgogi containing mushroom　＞

This pan is beef, vegetables, and vermicelli boiling with soy sauce.

These Side Dishes (dried seaweed, Kimchi, food boiled down in soy sauce, Namul, etc.) were full of delicacies and everyone wanted to have seconds.

The restaurant was located at the foot of Mt. Seoraksan.

このプルコギは牛肉、野菜、春雨の醤油ベースの鍋です。

おかず（海苔、キムチ、佃煮、ナムルなど）が珍味揃いで、皆でお代わりをした。

このためメインの鍋料理の味は、印象が薄くなってしまった。

店は雪岳山の麓にあった。

This is a staple dish in Korea.

石焼きビビンバは韓国料理の定番です。

The restaurant in Seoul was full in the group of Japanese tourists.

店はソウル市内で、日本人観光客の団体で一杯でした。

This was the most delicious among the seafood pan that I ate so far.

This restaurant was full in the group of Japanese tourists, too.

海鮮寄せ鍋は、今まで食べた中で一番旨かった。

この店も、日本人観光客の団体で一杯でした。

＜　９　Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market　＞

I and wife went to Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market in Soul to have a meal.

There were more than 700 stores selling fish and shellfish in the market.

We had bought a fish and some shellfishes, and we got it cooked in a dining room of the second floor (the photograph left hand).

私は、ソウルにある鷺梁津水産市場（ノリャンジン）へ食事に行きました。

巨大な市場には７００以上の魚介類の店が並んでいる。

私達は、ここで買った魚と貝を2階（写真左手）の食堂で調理してもらった。

I ordered the sliced raw fish “Sashimi”, and the roasted shellfishes.

The dining room used the remaining materials as the pan.

People of the stores did not understand what I said, but we ate delectably and were satisfied with relating to the local persons.

私は、魚を刺身、貝を焼くように頼んだ。

食堂は残りの材料を鍋にしてくれた。

言葉が通じなかったが、食べて満足した。現地の人と触れ合いながら味わうことが出来た。

This time, we look at ancient Israel having the rare history.

これから古代イスラエルの医術を見ていきます。

今回は、希有な歴史を持つ古代イスラエルを見ます。

What is rare?

This nation was sandwiched between the vast desert and the sea, furthermore between two ancient civilizations of Egypt and Mesopotamia.

World religion was not born of the both ancient civilizations, but Judaism and Christianity were born of this small nation.

Two ancient civilizations of China and India created each world religions.

Furthermore, the peoples lost the hometown and roamed around the world for 2000 years, and they again accomplished the founding of their nation in Palestine.

It was the Jewish nation, and Israel.                        

何が希有なのか

この国は砂漠と海、エジプトとメソポタミアの古代文明に挟まれていた。

その両古代文明から世界宗教は生まれなかったが、小さなこの地からユダヤ教、キリスト教が誕生した。

中国とインドの古代文明は世界宗教を生みだした。

さらに一民族が故郷を失い、２０００年間も世界を放浪し、再びパレスチナの地に建国を成し遂げた。

実に驚異的なユダヤ民族であり、イスラエルであった。

What was there in this ground?

It was this hills part of Orient where human beings first settled down to grow crops and to keep animals.

The oldest place was Jericho in Palestine, and it dated back to 10000 years B.C.

Then, the shores of Palestine became the anchorages in where Egypt carries out maritime trade.

In its northern part, Phoenicia (Lebanon) became a base in order for Mesopotamia to go to the Mediterranean.

In this way, this Levant (shore of the eastern Mediterranean Sea) prospered in trade and became a place where many peoples come and go.

Some characters were created in Sinai Peninsula and Canaan at about the 15^th century B.C. and it had derived from the hieroglyphic of Egypt.

It spread into Mesopotamia from Levant.

The most of today's alphabet were derived from this character.

この地に何があったのか

人類が最初に農耕牧畜を行い、村を作ったのは、オリエントの丘陵部でした。

その最も古いものがパレスチナのエリコで、それは紀元前１万年前まで遡る。

その後、パレスチナの沿岸部はエジプトが海上交易する寄港地となった。

北のフェニキア（現レバノン）は、メソポタミアが地中海に出る拠点となった。

こうして、このレバント（地中海東部沿岸地方）は交易で栄え、幾多の民族が往来する所となった。

紀元前１５世紀頃、文字がシナイ半島とカナンの地で生まれ、それはエジプトの象形文字それはレバントを中心にメソポタミアに普及した。

今日のアルファベットのほとんどはこの文字から派生した。

Though this small nation was bombarded with the both great nations that were antagonistic to each other, this nation was able to survive, because it was bounded by the vast desert and the ridge of the Great Rift Valley.

However, when the national power of Egypt declined, this nation received thorough destruction by Mesopotamia in the 8th century B.C., and Jewish Diaspora began.

Furthermore, in the first century, the Roman Empire conquered the Jewish revolt, and the Jew and the Christian broke up to the west.

The great achievement of Solomon Empire (B.C. 1000) completely was dissipated in this way.

この小国は大地溝帯の尾根と砂漠で囲まれていたことにより、拮抗する両大国に翻弄されながらも生き残ることが出来た。

しかしエジプトの国力が衰えた紀元前８世紀には、メソポタミアによって徹底的な破壊を受け、ユダヤ人の離散が始まった。

さらに１世紀、ローマ帝国はユダヤの反乱を制圧し、ユダヤ人とキリスト教徒は西方に離散していった。

こうして輝かしいソロモン帝国（紀元前１千年）の偉業は跡形もなく消え去った。

What was left?

Palestine received repeated invasion, and the remained things became only ruins and Judaism.

From ancient times, the Jews played an active part in Orient by the culture and the language, and they found their way into Europe before long.

The Christianity that was displaced from Palestine found their way into Rome from Syria and Greece.

Jews who took a lead in Rome observed the doctrine rigidly, and it decided the outcome between Christian before long.

And the Old Testament and the New Testament became what communicate the history and the culture of ancient Israel, and it remained.

何が残ったのか

パレスチナの地は、度重なる侵略を受け、残ったのは廃墟とユダヤ教だけとなった。

古代より、ユダヤ人はその文化と言語を武器にオリエントで活躍し、やがてヨーロッパに活路を見出すことになる。

パレスチナを追われたキリスト教は、シリア、ギリシャからローマに活路を見出した。

先行していたユダヤ教徒は、頑なに教義を遵守したこともあり、やがてキリスト教徒と明暗を分けることになる。

そして旧約聖書と新約聖書が、古代イスラエルの歴史と文化を語るものになって残った。

漁港を散歩して、飛び交う鳥達の姿を撮りました。

The horse mackerel could be fished and there was one person who had fished a octopus.

アジが釣れ、タコを釣ってしまった人もいました。

今回はまとめと注意点を記します。

問題点の要約

１． 個人情報が悪用されると、国民自身に被害が及びます。

２． 国家や大企業が情報を隠蔽、悪用すると、国民は莫大な損害をこうむります。

＊　薬品・原発の安全、交戦開始、冤罪、食品偽装、暴力団への資金供与など。

３． 情報の扱いは、個人間では相互信頼を前提に自浄作用が働きます。しかし閉鎖的な組織（政府・官僚・企業の上層部）は自浄作用が働かないので、その悪化は破局まで亢進します。

４． 国民にとって、国家の情報管理で重要なのは、漏洩だけでなく隠蔽、捏造、私物化を防止することです。

＊　組織内の不祥事や事実の隠蔽、証拠や情報の捏造、秘密情報で利益を得ることなど。

更なる深い問題

歴史を振り返ると、人類が苦闘しながら築きあげて来たものに想い至ります。

古来、権力の源は神格化と武力に始まり、ややもすれば富みと権力、軍が結びつき、禍を生みました。

やがて民衆は三権分立と民主主義、文民統制により国民の権利と平和を確保しようとしてきました。

しかし、新たな問題―拡散し高度化する情報の扱い、が迫っています。

これは人々が世界と一体になる機会を与える一方、一組織による悪用（収集、管理、隠蔽、捏造、私物化）が大きな禍を招きます。

この扱いを誤ると、一組織に莫大な権益と権力を許し、過ちを犯すかもしれません。

しかし、人類はまだ情報を統御する政治理念を生み出せてはいません。

＜　米国の情報収集を暴露　＞

特定秘密保護法により米国と更なる軍事協調を進めることが可能になりますが、これにも大きな危険性を孕んでいます。

集団安全保障は一国の防衛に有利なのですが、第一次、第二次世界大戦勃発に見られるように、大規模な戦端を開き易くするのです。

これが現行憲法で禁止している理由です。

特定の国だけが集団で機密を共有することは、その集団安保体制を強固にさせます（国連などは別です）。

＜　経営者の損出隠しを調査して解任される　＞

さらに厄介な問題として、日本は情報と上手くつきあえない風土があります。

＊       内部告発を妨げる社会。

＊       記者クラブに頼るマスコミ報道。

＊       刷新されることのない行政府。

＊       法や信頼より組織内優先。

最後に

特定秘密保護法で直ぐには悲惨な事は起きないでしょうが、少なくとも既に進んでいる腐敗は一層悪化することになります。

将来、既に見てきた危険が現実のものとなるかもしれません。

国民の皆さんに、一層の監視を望みます。

デマ・偏見・盲点 １３： 知ること、知られること ４

既に見たように、国民の情報と国家の情報には大きな違いがありました。

今回は、甚大な被害を招く組織の腐敗と情報開示の関係を見ます。

官民癒着の例：薬害エイズ事件

この事件では、厚生省が認可した血液製剤により１８００人がエイズに感染し、内６００人が死亡した。

過去に、水俣病、森永ヒ素ミルク事件、サリドマイド事件、薬害スモンでは多くの死者と重傷者を出した。

薬物や毒物による被害は広範囲、かつ甚大となり、さらにその解明と救済が困難です。

この事件は、権威ある医者、厚生省、製薬会社ミドリ十字の怠慢と癒着による手抜きで発生した。

この刑事裁判では、製薬会社トップ3人は実刑判決、厚生省課長は有罪確定、医者Aは公判中死去となった。

何が問題だったのか

製薬会社トップ

彼らは米国の情報により危険性を知っていながら、薬剤の在庫減らしの為に、安全との虚偽宣伝と販促を命じた。

医師A（大学副学長）

彼は厚生省エイズ研究班長の立場を利用して、利益供与を受けていた製薬会社の意向に沿い、安全な血液製剤への転換に反対した。

彼の異常さは、血有病学理の第一人者としての権威と自説に固執し、改善の進言を一切拒否したことにある。

厚生省課長

彼は現行製剤の危険を承知の上で販売中止、回収命令を怠った。

この背景に、ミドリ十字が「厚生省出張所」と呼ばれていたことがある。

もし彼が、回収を命令すれば数十億の損害を天下り先が負うことになる。

その結果、被害者への賠償や治療費、研究施設の新設費はそれを遙かに超えた。

この事件と情報の関係

真実が隠蔽されていた時

「当時、担当者らは非加熱製剤の危険性を知らず、学会権威者の合議による認可で決まったので、企業や医者Aに責任は無い。せいぜい認可した厚生省に救済責任があるだけである。」とされていた。

真実が暴露された後

エイズ研究班の会議録音テープがマスコミに流出し、管直人厚生大臣が厚生課長のメモを発見した。

この後、一気に事実解明と和解が進んだ。

何が重要なのか

この手の官民癒着は原発の如く蔓延しているが、ほとんど明るみに出ず、容易に責任を追及出来ない。

理由は、一に都合の悪い情報を消去するか隠蔽していることによる。

たまたま告発者、マスコミ、厚生大臣の裏切り（自局を告発）が事の真相を明るみに出した。

再発防止に重要なこと。

１．             議事録の保存と公開の義務付け（秘密の対象を自由にさせない）。

２．             内部告発者を守る。

３．             マスコミの取材を妨害しない。

４．             政権交代などで新陳代謝を図る。
